We have long prided ourselves on being able to provide support for members and organizations within our community (which extends throughout the world!) but recent events have taught us the deep spiritual value of learning to receive. We would like to formally acknowledge the support of these organizations in helping us recover from the flooding that resulted from Hurricane Helene in Fall 2024.
Our Major Donors:
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance which provided connections to mold remediation groups who worked with no cost to the church.
Presbytery of WNC Hurricane Helene Relief which has provided grants to assist in rebuilding for individuals in our congregation as well as our church building.
The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, which awarded us an Emergency and Disaster Response Fund Grant.
