A Census bureau representative tells me that as of last week, Madison County’s response rate to the census was a shade over 41 percent. In other words, Madison County is about #76 out of the 100 counties in the state in response.
The census will conclude at the end of October. If you don’t participate, it means Madison County will lose federal dollars for EMS, education, food assistance, and other highly important things.
Therefore, please participate in the census; Madison County is depending on you!
