God our Redeemer, we confess that our lives do not reflect your glory. You shine on us with wonder, but we fail to see your beauty. Open our eyes to your glory; open our hearts to your mercy, and open our lives to your will, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
* ASSURANCE OF PARDON
One: On mountaintops and in valleys, in our hopes and in our hearts, God knows us better than we know ourselves, and God forgives us when we cannot forgive ourselves!
All: Thanks be to God; Amen!
* GLORIA PATRI

MESSAGE Rev. Melissa Upchurch
* AFFIRMATION OF FAITH (Nicene Creed – Ecumenical Version)
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father (and the Son), who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

INVITATION TO THE LORD’S TABLE
THE GREAT THANKSGIVING AND LORDS PRAYER
One: The Lord be with you.
All: And also with you.
One: People of God, lift up your hearts to the One who calls to you.
All: We open our hearts to the One who invites us to listen.
One: Offer praise and thanks to the One who is with you right now.
All: Our voices unite in praising and thanking God, who loves us!
The minister continues…It is truly right and our greatest joy…who forever praise the glory of your name:
All: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!
The minister continues…You are holy, O God of majesty… we speak of that mystery we call faith:
All: Christ died, to pull aside the curtain of death; Christ rose, to reveal the promise of new life; Christ will come again, to show us the face of God.
The minister continues…Gracious God, as we gather around your Table…We pray in your triune name as we were taught to pray:
All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
