Click here for today's lectionary reading.

The two-year Daily Lectionary comes from the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship (Westminster John Knox Press, 1993) where it was adapted from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer; it may also be found in the Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study, published each year by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). From the January Session minutes

Session approved a "Souper Bowl Sunday" dual offering with monetary gifts to be sent to New Direction Ministries in Madison County and cans of soup for Neighbors in Need. Session approved that on the 3rd Sunday of every month buckets be passed by children to collect change for the 5₵ a Meal Program sent to Presbytery. Genell noted that the last grant given to Neighbors in Need by the 5₵ a Meal Program was for $5,000.
